Abstract:
This documentation reports the design of bilingual dictionary in Expert Based Machine Translation System from English to Urdu. This dictionary is a basically a collection of parallel words of English and Urdu. In this documentation the detail of database used in dictionary was given and also this document also introduces a solution for gender and quantity awareness for the Urdu Machine translation system.
This documentation also discusses the sentence based translation system which was developed for translation of those sentences for which the pattern is not found in expert system knowledge base. The technique of word by word translation is discussed with the single pattern which I refer to as default pattern.
