dc.description.abstract NUST is a prestigious university of Pakistan. As university is growing rapidly each year with more number of students admitting, the quantity of wastewater is also increasing. For that there is need to expand or install filtration mechanisms for wastewater treatment. Constructed wetlands are one way to treat and filter wastewater. For developing countries like Pakistan with limited technological advancement and energy problems, constructed wetlands which have a zero or very low energy requirement can be used in the treatment trains. Constructed wetlands can mimic the filtration processes of natural wetlands, effectively removing contaminants from wastewater. So, the project achieve following objectives:  Preliminary survey of the area.  Calculation of quantity of wastewater.  Design of wetlands and filter.  Aligning of NUST Nallah. The outcome of project is design of constructed wetlands. The constructed wetland after construction will reduce concentration of all contaminants present in the pretreated wastewater. The treated effluent from the constructed wetland can be used for different purposes like landscape irrigation. en_US
