Online Testing System

Abstract

Within a context of rapid technological change and shifting market conditions, the education systems are challenged with providing increased educational opportunities without increased budgets. Many educational institutions are answering this challenge by developing distance education programs. We can divide distance education into two categories one in which only test is available online and the other category is where courses are also available online. My project belongs to the first category of the distance education that is only test is available online .In this type of distance education student should prepare himself for the test and then go online for the test. The Online testing system developed by me provides online registration facility to the students and it also confirms the student registration through e-mail. It generates the unique id for each student, which he can use for giving the actual test. After he finishes his test, the system generates the result for that student. This project is in its initial stage and can only be used for any general kind of examination and working perfectly fine but in future this can be upgraded and can be used for taking test of different courses like for “Java”, “HTML”, “C++” etc. In the future administration work can also be done like one can enter more questions in the data base etc.
