dc.description.abstract This project aims to maximize the efficiency of a Solar System in terms of Energy production. The purpose is to use the solar energy as an energy alternative and to get maximum power out of it. In this project, solar is being used efficiently for an automated system, which will be capable of providing electrical energy, even though the sun is not available. This project entails tracking of sun by solar panel, MPPT charge controller, and inverter and Single Phase energy meter with automated data transfer using GSM. Sun tracker tracks the sun from east to west in single axis and gets maximum power from sun, using this power it charges the battery using MPPT charge controller which involves a buck converter in its design. Power Inverter Inverts the power to drive AC load and Energy meter can be used to measure and transmit the DC power consumed. The system is fully functional and tracks the sun from sunrise to sunset according to the time based algorithm. Performance Enhancement of Solar Systems is being done with collaboration of AGECO Private Limited. en_US
