dc.description.abstract In this project we have implemented a device that improves the power factor and incorporate a display showing the number of units consumed by the customer after a specific time interval, a electric meter, with the major processing being carried out by the microcontroller such as reading the data sent by the an IC which measures the amount of electricity used by customer. The LCD is working in real-time i.e. showing the units as time progresses. Moreover, it shows the bill. Power factor part will improve the power factor, hence reducing the electricity bills. en_US
