dc.description.abstract This project aims in designing a PURE SINE WAVE INVERTOR with efficiency above 95% and a power factor greater than 0.6. The basic focused areas are “Generation of Pure Sine Wave”, “Improvement of Power factor”, and “Cost Reduction”. This report is based on research and development of this device, that to find the existing technology and their pros and cons and how to remove them and make a robust and reliable power inverter. This inverter takes 24V input and converts it into 220V AC output. It has minimum thermal harmonic distortion and allows appliances to work efficiently. Cost reduction is the most important aspect, to make this device compete in the market. en_US
