dc.description.abstract Due to the shortfall of fossil fuels in the near future, development of alternative source of energy is needed. The rapid growth in consumption of electric power has always been a concern for every country. This has lead to the increase concern and emphasis on the research and development of alternative sources of energy. In this project, an inverting system for renewable energy application will be developed using the H-bridge inverter technology, which is able to synthesize a 220v ac voltage from 24v of dc voltage. The goal of this project is to explain and ultimately build a high efficiency pure sine wave inverter (DC to AC converter) from scratch. The great majority of inverters out there can generate a very blocky and noisy sine wave. This inverter is generating a nice and smooth high fidelity sine wave just as an audio amplifier would. en_US
