Distance learning through the internet has now become practical due to the continuous spread of the internet all across the globe. This phenomenon can now be fully exploited in the developed world in general and the USA in particular. Almost every citizen in the USA has access to an internet facility whether private or public. Therefore, if we design a web-site around the concept of distance learning through the internet, we can be sure of its success more than ever before. The implementation of this concept may help bring about a revolution in the way a common man looks at educating his children, whether it’s a toddler or someone planning to go to the university for a professional degree. It is also a viable option for education policy planners to maximize the literacy rate. The concept is totally scalable in nature, as well. We may spread the facility to other parts of the world very easily, if and when required.
