PDA EASE-UP

Abstract

In today’s world of computing, the use of hand held devices is increasing. A personal digital assistant (PDA) allows you to efficiently access, organize, collect, store, and process various kinds of information, and work with it on the run. Being a hand-held electronic device, it is designed to fit your palm as easily as your pocket. Unlike an ordinary computer, it is always with you. PDA synchronization is all about the up-to-date contact information stored on software such as Microsoft Outlook or ACT! to update the database on the PDA. The data synchronization ensures that the PDA has an accurate list of contacts, appointments and e-mail, allowing users to access the same information on the PDA as the host computer. This project aims at the synchronization tools for PDA data available in the market and the development of the smart scheduler for synchronization purposes. Such a synchronization tool would enable the PDA users to automatically synchronize their data with the help of the criteria based selections. The project would cater three basic modules which are Synchronizator Client and Synchronizator Server and a Live Pic Uploader.
