dc.description.abstract	Digital energy meter is a device that will be on your home or shop monitor energy data from electricity meter, and let you know how much energy consumers are using with some outstanding features built in it. Our designed (3 phase) Digital Meter is an amalgamation of embedded systems, GSM and web. It comes under the domain of Power and Control. It’s a smart system that can calculate the energy consumed by attached load, show the calculated current, voltages and power on LCD and upload the data on remote server via GSM. Also various features of meter can be accessed by the admin (like turning any phase on or off). One of the exceptional features is also the calculation and correction of the power factor.	en_US
