dc.description.abstract Digital Voice Recorder (DVR) is the hardware which is made with Microcontroller, External data flash, power supply regulator, LCD and some other components. It is audio (DVR) that can record and playback the voices .Analog signal is received in microphone which proceeded to analog to digital converter (ADC). ADC converts analog signal to digital signal for sound recording the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) for accessing the external Data Flash memory and the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for playback. Microcontroller makes samples of these digital values, with a certain algorithm Microcontroller takes these samples and assigns them a place in external data flash. Multiple tracks can be recorded and playbacks sequentially. A graphical user interface for the user in the form of LCD, user can select the recording playback mode with it. en_US
