dc.description.abstract This report aims to provide the description of the process of planning, designing and testing an electric bicycle also called E-Bike which requires little or negligible maintenance. Fuel has been a major concern for people of Pakistan in recent times and we see E-Bike as a potential replacement of fuel vehicles in near future. In our design hub motor is used to power the vehicle and to control speed a CPU and controller have been designed. Lead Acid batteries are used to provide required 36 V to the motor. Human interfaces are designed to indicate battery and speed of vehicle while a switch is installed to turn on the vehicle. Moreover throttle control is provided to vary the speed. en_US
