dc.description.abstract Robot Soccer Simulation is a high fidelity Simulation System which implements functions like the 2D/3D real-time display, real-time playback and strategy making. Robot Soccer simulator is a simulator that that helps the students to create different strategies for playing soccer which are implemented using an input interface and then realized using a simulation system created in JAVA 3D. This simulation system has been developed using JAVA 3D, a standard specification defining cross platform API for producing 2D and 3D computer graphics. The soccer playing strategy is implemented by the user through a JAVA application. The simulator system then uses these values to simulate the robots simultaneously. The 3D objects have been created using 3D Studio MAX. This simulation tool provides the undergraduate students an opportunity to improve their programming skills for algorithmic development. It also provides a very practical and fun way of exercising the programming skills and developing algorithms, which in turn motivates the students further to focus on solving real world problems. en_US
