Abstract:
Day by day semantic metadata is increasing and it is becoming more difficult to search
the required data and get the accurate information. Tools are developed for performing
different operations over the semantic web, but these operations can only be performed
by the domain experts or users with prior knowledge of semantic web. In order to get full
usage, the semantic tools must be developed in a way that novice users can also explore
the tool easily without having domain specific background. One of the main reasons
behind the less adoptability, by the novice user, is lack of usability. This thesis tends to
provide a brief introduction of basic semantic web technologies and standards followed to
develop tools. After that a little background about the existing tools is provided and then
the proposed solution CSWP (Collaborative Semantic Web Platform) is discussed in
detail. Then a comparison from the other tools is provided and at the end conclusion is
provided.
