dc.description.abstract The research aims at minimizing the gap between scattered data at different locations. Its proof of concept application focuses at investigating the problems of reporting crime by the individuals of Pakistan and then to design and implement the required system in the form of a mobile application. In this research work, a design is proposed for the architecture of an efficient cloud based semantic middleware for crime reporting. In order to design/clarify the vague problem domain, a survey was designed and carried out. The survey for taking opinions of masses and experts on crime reporting and its processing was conducted and analysed by using the simple random and cluster sampling techniques. The proposed system is equally helpful for Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) for every case reported to them for the attainment of balance state corresponding to the nature of crime reported. This results from the fact that an efficient mobile application on the proposed design is the requirement of the LEAs also. The study concluded that proposed framework presented in this research is effective, more reliable and easily implementable in reporting crime in Pakistan. en_US
