dc.description.abstract Pakistan AEC industry is persistent on obsolete and archaic methods. This affects the construction process itself and the finished product quality and scope, decreased service life and increased maintenance costs. We have made an effort using BIM to analyze a real example building with advanced techniques. Furthermore, we have incorporated two more factors to estimate service life of building components in the estimated design service life formula. The project aided stakeholders of case example building to made enhancement on their project and to compute the service life of their building components. en_US
