dc.description.abstract Electrophysiological data is the data about the electrical activity of the heart. To analyze this data we need an analysis tool. One of the tools being used to analyze the data is MeV (MultiExperiment Viewer). It has incorporated sophisticated algorithms for clustering, visualization, classification, statistical analysis and biological theme discovery in it. This is an open source tool. EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) Switzerland has electrophysiological data available in the form of relational databases. They need to analyze the data. The problem with MeV tool is that it only takes specific file formats as input for analysis of data. In order to carry out the analysis on the data of EPFL, we have to implement a new loader that will load the resultset data. This loader will be then included in the code of MeV tool. This project focuses on accessing the data from the relational databases with the help of the queries. A user interface is provided for selecting the database and writing the queries to get the resultset. Then the resultset of these queries is passed to the MeV tool to load in it. A wrapper is written in order to load the data into MeV. Once the resultset data is loaded into MeV tool, this data is displayed and all the analysis on this loaded data can be carried out according to the user requirement. en_US
