dc.description.abstract Telecommunication industry is going through a big boom these days throughout the world. Mobile has become ubiquitous and there are many telecommunication companies that have come to provide mobile services to the users. Companies are so many and demand so huge that every now and then a new company comes upfront with standard and unique features to attract the masses. The standard services of all the mobile companies are the same, it’s their various value added services that these companies basically use to attract the customers and to retain them. Customer base and customer retention has become the rule of the game now. During this last decade machines have been seen to take over man related jobs. This is being seen in our daily lives such as the ATM taking over the banker’s job. In the same way nowadays every field directly or indirectly is being automated by machines. This is why machines have increased our efficiency and saved our time. In this regard intelligent software plays a close knit role along with machines. Topup machine is a vendor machine that provides with the services of prepaid numbers to the subscribers. It is done in return of recognizing cash using in theory the knowledge of image processing. These Topup machines are being introduced very much in the foreign countries and it is a novel unique idea in Pakistan. Various Pakistani Telecommunication Companies like Ufone and Warid are thinking of providing services to their users with such machines. en_US
