Competition in the CRM, driven by the globalization and the advent of World Wide Web, has increased by tremendous amounts. Customers have variety of choices and most importantly they have become more knowledgeable and demanding. It is not a myth that a customer is a ‘King’. Keeping this in mind, enterprises and businesses world wide have realized that it is not just enough to satisfy and delight them but to build genuine relationships that could benefit them. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) initiatives are designed with the goal of meeting customer expectations and needs in order to achieve maximum customer lifetime value and returns to the business.
