Employee Management System

Abstract

Employee Management System (Module I), is internal to the organization that handles all day to day activities very intelligently and efficiently. This system is being implemented for a Newspaper company named “Daily Asas”. The communication module helps the employees and managers to communicate with each other in a very effective and timely manner. Employees and Managers can easily Send ,receive messages (inter office communication), Fill built in leave forms, Assign/View rewards, View/change all personal information like address and dependents, Review/change their contact information, Manage their information, giving them a greater sense of ownership, Managers can assign tasks, call for meetings etc. The system is built using ASP.NET and the back end programming is achieved by C#. The databases are built in SQL Server2000. Main features include employee searching, session management and password encryption using MD5 algorithm. Hence it is concluded that the main objective of the project to automate or computerize an existing employee information system in an organization has been acheived. The system passes the test of time, productivity; efficiency and effectiveness that hold key position in the business world today.
