dc.description.abstract The world’s transformation from 2D to 3D displays has made 3D display technologies a very vital field in the areas of Electronics and Computer Graphics. This display technology, being a more realistic approach, is more attractive and people are inclined to use it instead of the conventional 2D displays, which lack the details of depth in a 3D scene and cause occlusion if used for such purpose. Magic Cube 3D is a display device that uses five LCD screens arranged in the form of a cube. Each screen displays a different perspective view of the 3D model designed in image processing software while tracking the user movements and manipulations/gestures made by the user to give an illusion of a 3D object inside the box. The product gives a new interactive experience to the user enabling them to manipulate the 3D view, may it be a static scene or some scene from a game, some simulation or anyother application. Using technologies of gesture recognition, this device provides a better virtual reality experience to the user. It is a device which user can move around, while manipulating the 3D scenes being rendered at multiple screens simultaneously. This all makes our device useful for Mathematical modeling, Bio-medical Imaging, 3D Gaming, and Prototyping. en_US
