Online Registration of NUST

Abstract

In this age of Information Technology, the E-Commerce has driven the core of business to the homes of consumers and merchants. Electronic transactions have replaced the manual & paper work. We have to make a lot of effort in order to solve problems manually, which can be solved by using the E-Commerce Technology and Internet facility sitting at homes. University Admissions is one of those problems that can be handled effectively using E-Commerce technology. This project report describes the design and implementation of an e-commerce project, online Registration of NUST (National University of Sciences and Technology). NUST being an International University needs to go on Internet for becoming closure to the world. Thus they require an online Student Registration System to help achieve this goal. In this project I have build a web site for the NUST University, So that applicants living in any area of the world can get the information about the courses offered by NUST. Applicants can also get the information about the eligibility for desired courses; their admission criteria and they can apply by using Internet services without approaching the campus at Rawalpindi in the following fields:

 Engineering  Management  IT (Information Technology)  Medical.

Another aspect of this project relates to the Administration side. At the Administration side it provide a sound search facility regarding to records of all applicants of all departments, for NUST Admission Office and facility of adding deleting and updating records providing all security aspects.
