dc.description.abstract Recognition and finding Direction to different points of interest is difficult task for tourist in unknown localities. There is a need for solution which provides immersive experience to tourists about geographical information of surrounding. Today's smartphones have enough computing resources and on-board sensors which can be used to detect, identify and track markers as well as planar objects in real time. The aim is to develop a framework which can become a complete tourism guide package for tourists. The framework will use AR to provide features like Point of Interests, Navigation and User Location History. There are some existing solutions but they are not all in one solution. Most of them lack the augmented reality part as well as user history. So, our aim is to create all in one solution for the tourists. In future, multi-language translation and sign boards scanning and translation can be added in the solution to make it more useful for the foreign tourists. en_US
