Suitable

Abstract

Suitable is a short-ranged photogrammetry solution delivered in the form of an Android application. The core idea behind the product is to allow users to take a single picture of their best-fit apparel with a coin as reference object in the same plane using their smartphone as per the specified guidelines and be able to view their own size label for some specified brands; this is to be done by comparing the extracted dimensions of apparel from the captured image and compare them with the available size charts/guides of different brands and returning the size label which either has the most matching fields or has the least difference from the determined dimensions. This information is then also stored in a database for reference and later use.
