In the modern world, where technology is evolving rapidly, UAVs have become quite popular, large scale for military use, and small scale for hobbyists alike. UAVs are now the major weapon of choice for many countries and organizations as the pilot is not in danger. Most every operation of the UAV is automated, except the landing. The proposed solution for this is a runway detection algorithm using a downward facing camera installed on the UAV. |
