dc.description.abstract is an integral part of everyday life of people. The access of it is just as important. It is the greatest source of information transference. Due to this level of importance the infrastructure of internet has seen a lot of improvement in the last decade. From the advent of 4G services to large data transference via WiFi, internet has evolved. Applications all over the world communicate through internet or the interweb. Thus, it will not be considered wrong to label internet as an essential par t of nearly every application or Web API. But this dependence of many applications on internet can be a hindrance as well, especially in remote areas or areas with poor infrastructure of 3G/4G. Moreover congestion of the network can cause block of information. In case of simple applications this might not be a problem but for some applications with critical systems dependant on information exchange this can be a problem. Hence the requirement for an alternate route is essential. As the infrastructure of GSM services is extensive and SMS packets are usually in bundles where much of the SMS limit is left unused so it can be said this is a potential alternate. We made use of the data transference possibility of SMS. As an SMS is only 160 bytes large this does mean that compressed data can be transferred. But in case of essential information this transference can be vital. Hence Aliud Service is introduced. The system constitutes of a Client and Server side which communicate via SMS packets. The server side has access to internet but the client side can be said to have no internet. The SMS packets can transfer data from Client to Server which moves on to processing the request that is extracted from the SMS. A few conventions are marked down to separate the Al iud marked SMS and the rest of the SMSs. The SMS will be used from the user ’s own bundle which means that we will be making efficient use of usually leftover SMSs en_US
