dc.description.abstract	People that are not well-versed in English cannot enjoy the same benefits as those that can speak and understand English properly when it comes to display based devices such as smartphones. SHIREEN is an Urdu based virtual phone assistant that is to be deployed as an android application due to the fact that majority of Pakistani population uses android smartphones. It aids people in performing tasks on their phones using voice commands in Urdu. The system is different from other virtual phone assistants that are available in the market because none of them are Urdu based. This system focuses on the majority of the Pakistani population that are Urdu speakers. This system can also be used by elder citizens and differently abled people.	en_US
