Abstract:
With increasing frequency and intensity of multiple disasters, increase in its impacts on livelihood is being recorded. There is a need of effective management system that can mitigate the harmful impacts of disasters and build community resilience. This can be done with the help of successful humanitarian supply chain. This research has been conducted to identify barriers of humanitarian supply chain management to ensure building community resilience. Barriers of humanitarian supply chain were analysed with the help of Interpretive Structure Modelling (ISM). List of barriers was collected through survey and consulting experts related to academia and disaster management organizations.
