Motivated employees are the building block of any successful organization. This research is about to study different factors which influence the relationship between Incentive system and employees performance. The model which we are implementing is based not only on motivational elements but also shows the effect of hygiene factors which cause dissatisfaction among employees. In this research employees of different departments of Telecom sector in Pakistan, undergo a detailed survey regarding incentive system. The results from survey shows that both intrinsic and extrinsic incentives play a vital role in employee’s motivation and improving overall employee’s productivity. Some other measures have also been highlighted in the research regarding economic perspective of motivation and incentives that encourage people to prefer working with private sector organization in Pakistan.
It is to highlight that there are many theories regarding motivation and employees performance have been studied in literature. But the main aspect of analyzing our research objectives under Herzberg’s theory is because of its dual-factor nature. Finally, the study has provided certain research opportunities that can further enrich the concept of incentive system and employees performance in telecom sector of Pakistan. |
