dc.description.abstract Auto-Drone is a flying quadcopter that we designed to combat the problem of deforestation that exists around the world and is causing mass chaos to both humans and wildlife. Our idea started with a solution to global warming; we went back to understand the primary cause of climate change, and deforestation was caught red-handed. Our project was simplified into two segments, the first being realizing an autonomous drone, and the second dealing with our application which is plantation. This quadcopter has the ability to fly on its own and also plant seeds without much human interaction. The reason we want to do this is to eradicate deforestation in the coming years, and our model can accomplish this objective. The user simply has to choose as many locations on the map as they’d like, this will generate coordinates for each location and send them to the drone. After doing this, the drone will then takeoff to a certain set height and fly to those coordinates in order of entry. While travelling to each coordinate, the drone will drop seeds at a fixed rate allowing for a uniformly displaced field of trees. en_US
