Abstract:
Scribbles is an online web application that allows users to convert their handwriting into a personalized font. The font can be used anywhere digitally, from word processing applications to graphics editing software etc. Users can use this application free of cost and can get a personalized font accordingly to their needs.
The main purpose of this project is to aid people suffering from ‘dysgraphia’. Dysgraphia is a writing disorder associated with impaired handwriting. Almost 5-20% of all students having some type of writing deficit suffer from dysgraphia. People suffering from dysgraphia face a tremendous difficulty when writing a simple sentence becomes a troublesome task. Our project solves this problem by providing an application that would assist in getting work done at a quicker rate by resorting to typing it down using specialized personal font that mimics user’s handwriting instead of spending countless hours on writing it.
