Abstract:
Smart Monitoring & Alarming System (SMAS) is automation for diesel tanks which are widely used in industries. This is a solution to the problem occurred at Tetra Pak where one of our group members did a six-week internship during the summer vacation of 2016. During the last week of his internship the valve of one of the tanks was left open due to negligence of the staff. Because of which 2000 litres of Diesel overflowed. Not only they lost one lac rupees but there was also a risk of the diesel catching fire. So, to avoid such problems in future we suggested automation in form of our FYP.
