dc.description.abstract	We have to design an Android smartphone capable of making and receiving voice calls and text messages. To run Android operating system we need to design a hardware system having ARM application processor, mobile RAM, flash storage and Touch LCD. In this project we have developed our own hardware prototype which runs Android OS. To enable telephony on our hardware prototype we have interface GSM module with it. It makes our project capable of making calls and sending messages.	en_US
