dc.description.abstract Physical inactivity is one the major causes of health related issues. It leads to various ailments such as obesity, elevated blood sugar levels, chronic heart disease and high blood pressure. According to a World Health Organization report almost 35% of the world’s population is affected by lack of physical activity. Fitsym is a smart wearable device developed for fitness tracking. It is a wireless enabled wearable technology device that measures daily metrics such as steps taken, distance travelled, calories burnt and heart rate of the user.
