dc.description.abstract The estimated number of people visually impaired in the world is 285 million, 39 million blind and 246 million having low vision. These people have a lot of difficulties in their daily lives as they are unaware of their environment, they have limited accessibility and they are really dependent on someone or something to do some chores. One of the main problems, these people face is their inability to read text from various sources. The main idea of this project is to create an app which will help those people to overcome the barrier of blindness and work and live like normal people. This will be done by using novel deep learning algorithms and techniques which read out aloud text when pointed by the user. en_US
