Abstract:
With currenttrendsinhardwaredesign,on-chipmulti-corearchitectureshave
emerged asanewparadigm.Thesearchitecturesexecutehighlyparalleland
resource demandingapplications.Thisleadstoperformancedegradationdue
to ine cientresourcemanagementandthermalissues.Thispaperaimsat
devising agenericalgorithmtodynamicallysolveboththeresourceallo-
cation andthermalmanagementproblems.Withthecurrenttrendtowards
implementingalgorithmsindi erentenvironments,C++providesthefastest
environmentamongstthecommonlyusedenvironments.Thispaperpresents
implementationofthesoftwareframeworkwhichwillhelptheresearchersin
attaining insightonthealgorithm.
