Abstract:
Managing a modern-day organizational unit‟s transactions entirely on paper can be cumbersome and incommodious. One of the main goals of an academic institute is to provide its stakeholders with a relaxed and progressive environment. Part of this experience is the provision of accommodation within the university so as to enable the stakeholders to interact amongst themselves and the university in a better way. Provision of residency to the students in a manner acceptable to them becomes a laborious job for the university administration. Even at times, when all requirements are clearly laid down, the task of accommodating and resolving all the issues can become extremely tedious, if not impossible. We need to have centrally synchronized data of all the students residing on-campus, as this data needs to be quickly accessible for all required manipulations. Campus Residency Management System is a web application for those applying for on-campus residence, current campus residents and administration. This system is designed to mechanize all the processes regarding campus residence (saving time and effort), minimizing loop-holes and ensuring effective utilization of residential facility.
