dc.description.abstract The project is a desktop application and is best described as an alternative receptionist of a hospital. It will listen to the users in Urdu and respond to them in Urdu. It is a solution to the problem of having overcrowded receptions at hospitals and having to wait in line for small questions. Although the information that this system provides is written at many places throughout the hospital premises, but due to low literacy rates they aren’t of much help to the people of Pakistan. Thus our system is designed to cater the majority of the illiterate population of the nation. The system comprises of a screen, microphone, camera and speaker which it uses to interact with the user. It is simple enough that any user can easily use it intuitively. en_US
