dc.description.abstract Learn and Teach: Real Time Operating System (RTOS) on Development Board is about learning a Real Time Operating System and its development on a development board and teaching it to others. Most of the embedded devices these days, run a RTOS. Most smart phones, in addition to running main OS like Android, Windows or iOS, are also running a RTOS on a separate microcontroller. The market demand of RTOS is ever increasing. With the advent of IoT, its demand is expected to increase more rapidly. All this increase in demand is leading to a situation where industry is demanding more RTOS developer and research in this field of Real Time Operating Systems. However, there is a major gap between what industry needs and what Electrical Engineers are taught in during their degree. They are only taught very basics of embedded engineering and the rest is left for them to figure out. Our Aim is to bridge this gap by providing students with the opportunity to learn about RTOS and practice it on-hands by enrolling in a free online course. en_US
