Abstract:
Due to the growth and development of modern sciences, we observe that the
lifestyle of our generation is evolving accordingly. Some trends and assets of
technology turn into life altering commodities. Internet in this case is an ever
revolutionary success of modern development in science. Internet influences
almost every member of the urban society these days. Since the influential
growth is also altering, the platform of personal expression also shifts with it. On
a simple note, People have adopted the internet as a base of conversation and
social interaction. What perks that comes with it is the freedom of expression
without the fear of conflict. People as we know can abuse this perk in such a way
that they can express their words in any possible way; no matter how harmful it
can be. Such a medium can easily become a host for terrorist to convey their
activities and influence people. Here our Project of online security comes in
action. We are developing a web application that will be used to detect online
hate speech and terrorism and take an action in stopping the spread of it. It will
not only insure detection on web pages but also on the social media website (i.e
Twitter). We will make our system smart by using deep learning algorithms so
that it can detect the potential possibility of threat of promotion and support of
online hate speech and terrorism. Our application can be accessed by any
individual that uses the internet and our service is free of cost. Even though there
are existing tools on the internet that can be used to fight against hate speech but
our application is focusing on targeting such locations on the internet where the
threat can be dealt with. We can see our idea as a promising tool to be used by
many social websites and organizations to use it to avail such a feature that
ensures online safety.
