dc.description.abstract With the current power crisis, UPS has become essential. Along with conventional UPS, the off grid Solar power option is quickly becoming popular. However, the issue lies in the fact that there is no interaction between the main supply and the solar power. Depending alone on solar energy may cause issues in case the solar energy is not available. The proposed solution intends to develop a Hybrid UPS system that monitors the availability of Solar power so that it may be given first priority and switch to mains only if there is no solar option. In this way, it will be ensured that our battery is charged at all times with the least possible bill cost. en_US
