Abstract:
The aim of this study is to study the determinants and factors responsible for retirement planning behavior in Pakistan. Through this research we aim to determine the economic factors such as income, saving and expenditures as well as knowledge and competency skills in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics and health industry which affect the behavior and attitude towards retirement planning. Primary research for this paper was conducted via a questionnaire survey in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. This study will benefit the retirement plan suppliers to understand the mode through which they should target the potential customers.
