Abstract:
With the boom of smart phone technology for professional and personal use; there has been a massive increase in the usage of online business. The people have accustomed themselves to using this technology and now every day to day businesses have moved to mobile platforms. From making online transactions; to accessing ticketing service. From e-government platforms to tax filling online system applications. In short every day to day task can be ideally done by application available in the market. But with such competition in the Online stores it has been observed that only few excel to be popular and get good ratings. This is because not all applications abide by the quality standards or provide the necessary security to earn the trust of the customers. These are those variables that play an important role in impacting the overall adaption of the mobile applications in addition to how user friendly GUI has been designed and how satisfied are the customers with the services provided to the customers. In particular, in this research we have aimed to developed and test a modified framework; that has been built on top of DeLone and Mc Lean Success Model [1]. This theoretical framework has been used since 1992. It has been widely used to demonstrate how successful Information Systems turn out to be based on the four relationships depicted the effects of quality on system usage and user satisfaction: where Service Quality has affect on System Usage and User satisfaction; same goes for Information Quality too. And the following mutual relationships of System Usage to User Satisfaction and vice versa. And rest relationships are on the basis of individual impact of System Usage and User Satisfaction. In this paper we have presented a modified model of Delone Mc Lean Model, with an addition of Trust, Security, Information Quality and Service Quality. The proposed model will help further the research in this area. To back up our finding SPSS version 20 has been used. The model has been utilized to the data set from Pakistan’s mobile Users. The aim of this thesis is to add to the reliability and significance of the previous studies. It will help the IT industries aiming for the market place in Pakistan; as demographically the data has been used from Pakistan.
