dc.description.abstract During last three years, the COVID pandemic has reshaped our lives from differ ent aspects. Previously people used to enjoy going out and shop physically for their clothes,food and grocery. Now the trend of online shopping has increased at multiple folds since last few years. People prefer to shop online at their comfort level of sit ting at homes. This ensures that they are selecting right products and have plenty of time and options while using these application through internet. As online shopping demands payment procedure which is mostly done by online methods, therefore this becomes a large target for computer hackers and cybercrime frauds. People store their personal information like credit card data, phone number and locations which can easily be retrieved by hackers and forensic investigators. So it is very important to secure the information and personal data in the online shopping applications. This is the basis of our research to help customers and users from large geographical area. The main focus and objective of this research work is to identify common and popular Android applications and analyzing them forensically. The results shall help the developers to improve the security of their applications to help forensic investigators in building user profiles and solving fraudulent crimes. Total eight applications have been selected for this work which belong to transport and online delivery domains. The applications selected for this research work are based on Android platform and chosen on the basis of their popularity and rating among vast range of users. . en_US
