dc.description.abstract In this thesis, the mass spectra of tetraquark X(5568), observed by the DO collaboration, has been anticipated using the tightly bound diquark model. This tetraquark is found to have the composition of four distinct quark flavors bdus. Using the masses and spin-spin interactions within the diquark (anti-diquark), we approximated the mass of not only the lightest bdus tetraquark state, 0+ and the charged tetraquark state, together with the neutral partners I = 1 and I = 0, but also the mass of the analogous tetraquark in charm sector, whose composition is cdus. The aim of this thesis is to search the tetraquark in the decay of Bc mesons. Using the Naive factorization, the amplitude and the branching ratio for the decay Bc → Bsπ is calculated. With the value of the mass for the bdus tetraquark evaluated using diquark model, the branching ratio of the Bc → Xb0π decay with the subsequent decay Xbo → Bsπ is approximated on the same pattern. As of yet, there is no experimental value reported for this branching ratio, thus we will have to wait for future research to test this proposed discovery method. iv en_US
