Digitizing Labour Procurement Through a Mobile Application

Abstract

With the rise of the construction industry in Pakistan and the shift of major sectors towards automating their workflow for a greater yield overall, we introduced E Proc, the first app-based intelligent platform for procuring of labor service based on GPS location. The idea of E Proc is mainly focused on the construction procurement sector. Through our online domain the clients can effortlessly hire labor, get construction tasks done and review and then rate the labor. E Proc also provides services via connecting the client and the labor directly through our app with a WhatsApp call. We aim to reduce the barriers currently existing in the construction industry of Pakistan and focus on ways in which a client can pick out the right labor for his job, which is cost and time effective. Furthermore, we aim to make it easier for labor to find a job with a very simplistic registration process through an innovative UI designed for an ordinary man.
