Abstract:
Feminist Standpoint theory states that feminist thoughts and views are important in understanding the experiences akin to women. This research deals with analyzing the women authored tribune blogs for the months of January, May and September (2016). This qualitative study answers two important research questions: What are the major issues that women bloggers talk about in the chosen Tribune blogs? and which social issues are the bloggers most vocal about? The research shows that women authors of the chosen tribune blogs talk about; terrorism, politics, women health issues, culture, reproductive rights, law/legal issues, sexual abuse/rape, parenting, international women movements, food, movies and entertainment in their blogs. With the authors being most vocal about topics like: Terrorism, politics, parenting, and culture.
