dc.description.abstract Rotavirus is a dsRNA virus belongs to the Reoviridae family causes diarrhea in children less then 5 year of age, kills almost half of million annually in developing countries. Currently, there are only two vaccines are licensed by WHO, which display reduced efficiency in underdeveloped countries due to large genetic variation in their genome. For this, we will propose a bioinformatics approach that includes the development of multivalent vaccine candidates included 4CTL and 13 HTL epitopes projected to be antigenic immunogenic, thermally stable, and safe for medical use. Besides, we have formulated compounds extracted from the Rhizophora mucronata Lamk medicinal plant that could be beneficial antidiarrheal drugs against rotavirus A. We test the idea of drug repurposing to see if Nitazoxanide is successful against Rotavirus en_US
