dc.description.abstract The short film is an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s short story “Lamb to the Slaughter”. The film revolves around a husband, Sameer and his wife, Mahgul. The film is about a woman who is really good at heart, but she can be vicious if triggered. One night when Sameer tells Mahgul that he is leaving her forever, she just cannot believe him. Everything changes the moment she hears about having a divorce. The same Mahgul who was cooking lamb leg for her husband’s as his favorite dish, kills him brutally with the lamb leg, leaving no evidence to get caught as she puts it back in the oven. She would do it maliciously at once. After few seconds of the murder, she comes to her senses, and plans to prove her innocence by creating an alibi and calling her husband’s colleague, Omar to investigate the murder. The policemen fall for her version of the story. They could not figure out the weapon, and they would never suspect Mahgul for killing her own husband. It ends with Mahgul’s devilish smile, and policemen left the weapon right there. en_US
