dc.description.abstract The idea of environmental justice is intricate and encompasses multiple disciplines. It is increasingly being utilized to cultivate resilience in tackling climate change. Rapid technological advancements have caused urbanization to increase in most cities, leading to unprecedented environmental and social challenges. To address these challenges, it is crucial to focus on enhancing the resilience of urban areas. This study aimed to develop various strategies for promoting urban resilience through environmental justice. To achieve this, the study investigated public perceptions, attitudes, and readiness for environmental justice. Additionally, the study identified challenges faced by institutions in implementing environmental justice and analyzed social inequalities in relation to environmental justice, providing a comprehensive understanding of the situation. The research findings were analyzed using bibliometric and thematic analyses, as well as other analytical tools like index based analysis and descriptive statistics. This allowed for the proposal of a framework that provides guidelines on enhancing urban resilience through environmental justice and how it can contribute to future research in urban systems and governance-related fields. en_US
